Forever Free's human trafficking survivor program called Operation Emancipation utilizes AI technology and partnerships with law enforcement and other victim service providers to identify, contact, and emancipate adults enslaved in sex trafficking in North Carolina and ensures survivors receive the specialized immediate care services they require.

Survivors of human trafficking are no longer on their own having to self-identify and search for help on their own, nor are victims dependent on receiving a service referral through the criminal justice system. Operation Emancipation utilizes AI technology to scan the internet and dark web to explore the most common online platforms selling commercial sex with adults and minors, scraping the corresponding phone numbers and email addresses, and sending targeted text-based and email outreach messages to potential victims.

We believe every person being bought and sold in the sex trade deserves a connection with knowledgeable service providers and Operation Emancipation allows our highly skilled and well-trained team of staff and volunteers to build trust with survivors through direct contact, emancipation, and immediate trauma-informed care.

The Forever Free team arranges transportation, a face-to-face meeting at our drop-in center or another agreed-upon location, a needs assessment, and immediate care to the survivor, including Food, Toiletries, Emergency Shelter, Medical Attention, Law Enforcement Referrals, and Trauma Counseling.
